Doctor Havert is a Board Certified Family Physician who has been practicing in the Northern Virginia area for the past several years. She is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota and completed her undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin. She graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 2002, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Virginia Commonwealth University. Since that time, Dr.Havert has worked in various health-related settings including a traditional Family Practice clinic , a Women's Health Center, and also spent a year as a health policy advisor at a non-profit organization in Washington, DC. She has been appointed an Assistant Clinical Professor at Georgetown University and mentors medical students in the ambulatory setting. Dr.Havert practices the full scope of Family Medicine and treats patients starting from the age of 16. Her specific areas of interest include adolescent health, cervical cancer screening, mental health, and general preventative medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga, and spending time with her 2 young boys and husband at their Arlington home.
